PAUL SCOTT WON THE 25 LAP FEATURE AND $110 ON ANOTHER BITTERLY COLD Sunday at the Mottville Speedway!  Jeff Brunt challenged Scott over and over during the feature for the lead but each time came upon lapped cars and had to drop behind Scott! Brunt settled for 2^nd followed by Jon Fitzpatrick, Fred Garrett, Derk Sargent and Eric Root.

In the heat it was Scott over Brunt, Garrett, Fitzpatrick and Root.

The actual race time temperature was about 14 but the wind chill temp was again near zero for the 2^nd Sunday in a row! The track was bone dry, however!

So with 4 points nights completed in 2003 we have 4 miserable weather nights, especially the two Sundays! Both Saturdays have been cold and wet!

So its onward and upward from here! Early forecasts for next week-end are for temps around 60 and lets hope they are correct!

We are getting more and more reports of cars being close to being ready and hopefully we see the car count pick up big time soon!

Sunday we had 2 PS, 2 MS and 2 MTC and with less than 3 in any class we ran all 6 together for the heat and feature. Had we had at least 3 of any one class we would have ran that class separately.

After 4 nights we have had some drivers make some pretty good money! We are still looking for our first street stock and kart, however! Karts are understandable but SS not so understandable!

I will be in the chat room Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 pm on this week! We have had as many as 13 last Monday in the chat room! I may also be on Tuesday since I can not do much at the track with this weather!

4 nights in and 81 to go! Hopefully the worse 4 weather nights of the season are behind us and its all downhill from here!
