MERLE YODER won his 2^nd Mini Stock feature of the season on a cool Saturday night at the Mottville Speedway as he passed season points leader Jon Fitzpatrick on lap 17 of the 30 lapper and went on to the  victory! Yoder picked up $120 on the night! Jon Fitzpatrick was a close 2^nd followed by Eric Root, Jesse Gaylord, John Fitzpatrick and John Yoder. Merle Yoder took the dash over Gaylord and John Fitzpatrick and Yoder also won the heat over Gaylord and John Yoder.

Steve Clifford came to the Mottville Speedway for the first time in 2003 and won a close 30 lap Mini Thunder Car feature over season points leader Derk Sargent, Chuck Hall, Fred Garrett and Richard Allbee. Garrett won the dash over Hall and Sargent and took the heat over Clifford and Hall.

Pro Stock season points leader Paul Scott won his 6^th feature of the season with a 15 lap win over Warren Halls.

Despite the cool night we had our largest crowd of the season in the front stands!

Richard Allbee drug the pits and front parking lot and drives twice during the week and really had things looking great!

The racing was really close and exciting in all events!

Sunday the temperature is supposed to warm up to the upper 50’s and be sunny! We keep getting more and more reports of cars being closer to be done so we should soon start to see a dramatic improvement in car count! We have still not had a street stock sighting in 2003!
