STEVE CLIFFORD won his 5^th Mini Thunder Car feature of the season on a beautiful Saturday night at the Mottville Speedway! Richard Allbee led the first 3 laps before season points leader Derk Sargent got by and Clifford then passed Sargent on lap 8 and went on for the win in the 15 lapper over Chuck Hall, two time defending champion Fred Garrett, Sargent and Allbee.

Hall won the dash over Clifford and Garrett and heat results were the same.

John Hackler padded his Mottville Mini Cups season points lead by winning his 2^nd feature of the season in 15 lap win over Tim Brundidge and Freeman Hochstetler. Results were the same in the heat.

Mini Stock season points leader Eric Root won his 4^th feature of the season in a 12 lapper with rookie Glenna Sargent 2^nd. Results were the same in the heat.

Robert Sutton took over the season points lead in the street stock division by winning the heat and his 3^rd feature of the season.

The MTC once again put on a thrilling show featuring close racing and many lead changes! Glenna Sargent thrilled everyone when she came within mere inches of hitting the wall between turns 2 and 3! Glenna claimed it did not bother her at all!

The MMC return May 17 and Hackler looks and sounds like he intends to be the season points champion! The MMC should have several more cars by May 17!

Mike Grand had his SS 38 at the track but had water pump troubles and was unable to compete! Hopefully he can have it fixed by Sunday!

We are getting reports of more and more drivers coming close to having their cars done in the next few days! Meanwhile we are suffering under our usual poor car counts in late April-early May but it should not be long before car count picks up!

Sunday the Pro Stocks join the other 3 classes and we also hope to have some karts!
