JEFF BRUNT won his 5th Pro Stock feature of the season on a warm Sunday evening at the Mottville Speedway as he held off season points leader Paul Scott and Ryan Prough for the win in the 15 lapper. Results were the same in the heat.

Mike Grand won his 4th Street Stock feature of the season as he took the 15 lapper over season points leader Robert Sutton. In the heat it was Grand over Sutton and Terry Zimmerman.

Henry Adkins came to the Mottville Speedway for the first time in 2003 and won the 12 lap Mini Stock feature over season points leader Eric Root and leading rookie Glenna Sargent! Results were the same in the heat.

Mini Thunder Car season points leader Fred Garrett just beat Richard Allbee to the finish line to win his 18th feature of the season in a 15 lapper! Derk Sargent was 3rd and David Edmonds 4th. In the heat it was Allbee over Garrett and Sargent.

8 year Nathan Jordan made his kart debut and won the 8 lap feature and heat.

This Saturday night the Mottville Mini Cups join the field and June 14th the Short Track Trucks Challenge Series comes to Mottville for the first time ever!

We finally had some nice, warm sunny weather!

We seem to be getting a lot of interest in the new Bomber class and it basically will follow the same rules as the MTC class. At present it would appear no overhead cams will be allowed. $500 claimer or $700 with full roll cage and anyone can claim within 5 minutes after the feature. We expect once the class starts that they will be a lot of claiming but so build a car expecting it to be claimed! Once we start running this class it will run every race night the rest of the season. Pay-off will be similar to MTC depending on car count.

Big news from the track on Sunday is that Scott Baker will drive Merle Yoder’s MS June 27 in the 50 lapper paying $250 to win! That should be an exciting night and it will be our first of several Friday night specials this season!

I hope to be in the chat room on Tuesday and Wednesday nights this week. If you have interest in the new Bomber class please email me or call me and let me know! We would like to get it started just as soon as possible! These cars are plentiful and cheap! Who knows you might get a car for $200 and sell it for $500!
