CHARLIE KRONTZ won the 50 laps Street Stock and $250 for his 10^th feature wins of the season Friday night at the Mottville Speedway!

Early leader Robert Teadt, Jr, bringing his SS to Mottville for the first time, appeared to have things well in hand with the lead but his engine failed on lap 27 and Krontz took command for good! Season point’s leader Robert Sutton was 2^nd.

Shane Eldridge won his 2^nd Mini Stock feature in a row as he and season point’s leader Eric Root traded the lead back and forth for the 15 laps before Eldridge came home the winner followed by Root, Larry Birk and Glenna Sargent. Results were the same in the heat.

Mini Thunder Car season points leader Derk Sargent won his 5^th feature of the season with a 15 lap win over Chuck Hall and Ron Kern, Jr. Results were the same in the heat.

The weatherman certainly did not help us any tonight! The forecast was a 60% chance of severe thundershowers but we never saw a drop of rain from noon on at the track!

We did register 3 new cars and it was great to have Larry Birk and Ron Kern, Jr both back after long absences!

Sutton reports his new SS is about 2-3 weeks away yet.

We had everything mowed at the track as we mowed every day from Tuesday through Friday to get it done!

Because the MS had more than double the car count of the SS for their 50 lapper last Friday we will run the MS 50 laps for $250 to win on Friday, July 18. Then the MS will do it again on Fridays, August 1 and 8. September 5 we will hope for more SS and try the SS again! MS again on Sept 12 and finally the SS on Sept 19. So it will be 5 MS 50 lappers and 3 SS plus the IMCC for both and the birthday bash for both.

The Mottville Mini Cups have switched to this Sunday from Saturday as they feel they will have more cars on Sunday this week. So Sunday we will have MMC and Pro Stocks both joining the field.

Saturday is a regular show and day 2 of out triple-header weekend! Should be another night of exciting racing action!
