Merle
Yoder won the opening night 25 lap Mottville Stock feature at the Mottville
Speedway Saturday night as he survived a back stretch crash involving Randy
Morley and passed 1999 champion Jean Behlke on lap 22 for the win! John Yoder
was 3rd followed by Terry Miller and Morley. On lap 4 Merle Yoder
spun on the backstretch and appeared headed into the wall when he corrected and
spun around facing the oncoming cars and Morley swerved to avoid him and turned
end over end into the infield. Morley was unhurt and his truck received on minor
damage to the relief of all!

Yoder won the heat over Merle Yoder and Behlke.
2000
Bomber Rookie of the Year Terry Humphries won the 15 lap Bomber feature over
Warren Sprague, Corey Harris and Andrew Kehler. Sprague won the heat over
Humphries and Kehler.
Defending
Thunder Car champion Terry Kline edged Rod Roberts by mere inches for the win
the 15 lap Thunder Car feature! Tom Dowling was 3rd followed by Mike
Jones and Brandon Fink. Kline won the heat over Roberts and Fink.
Jesse
VanAvery won the 15 lap street stock feature over Morley in another close one!
Matt Schick was 3rd. Morley won the heat over VanAvery and Schick.
Kart
action was really close as defending champion Greg Brown won the 15 lap feature
over Jessica Brown and Shawn Forsyth in a near photo finish! Andrew Behlke was 4th
followed by Shawn Hooley, Travis Forsyth and Tod Behlke. Hooley won the heat
over Greg Brown and Shawn Forsyth.
