Josh Salter brought his new car to the Mottville Speedway on a cold Saturday night and won the 25 lap Mottville Stock  feature in the second night of racing in 2001 at Mottville! First week winner Merle Yoder was a strong second followed by John Yoder, Larry Birk, Terry Miller, Jason Schaefer and Jean Behlke. John Yoder won the dash over Behlke and Salter took the heat win over Behlke.

Defending street stock champion Randy Morley won his first feature of the season with a 12 lap win over last week’s winner Jesse Van Avery. Eric Smoroske was 3^rd and Scott Baker 4^th. Morley also captured the heat win over Van Avery.

Dave Wilbur returned to the Mottville Speedway for the first time in a good while and won the 12 lap Bomber feature over Terry Humphries, who won last week! Warren Sprague was 3^rd followed by Corey Harris and Bill Crapo. Wilbur also won the heat over Humphries.

Rod Roberts won his first Thunder Car feature of the season with a 12 lap win over Terry Kline who won last week’s feature. In the heat it was Kline over Roberts.

In a very close kart feature of 15 laps Greg Brown made it two in  a row with Travis Forsyth 2^nd, Andrew Behlke 3^rd, Tod Behlke 4^th and Jessica Brown 5^th. Forsyth won the dash over Andrew Behlke and Behlke took the heat over Jessica Brown.
