Jason
Schaefer passed Jean Behlke on lap 21 of the 25 lap Mottville Stock feature
Sunday night and went on to his first career feature win! The leading candidate
for Rookie of the Year started last and Behlke took the early lead as she fought
off challenges from Merle Yoder, David Schaefer and Wesley Schaefer to keep it
until Jason Schaefer made his move late and got by for the win! Behlke settled
for 2nd followed by M. Yoder, D. Schaefer, W. Schaefer and John Yoder.
Behlke
won the Jenkins NAPA dash over D. Schaefer and M. Yoder while M. Yoder won the
heat over D. Schaefer and Behlke.
Randy
Morley won his 9th street stock feature of the season but had to
start over after being on the tail on lap 3 for causing a caution flag to come
out! Ryan Prough was 2nd followed by Scott Baker, Terry Humphries,
Bill Crapo and Joe Cool. Humphries won the dash over Crapo and Tom Dowling while
Baker took the heat over Prough and Morley.
Terry
Kline matched Morley in feature wins as he won the 15 lap Thunder Car feature in
a close finish over Melissa Worthington, Chris Arnett, Dustin Kline and Alden
Brown.
Worthington
won the dash over D. Kline and T. Kline while T. Kline won the heat over
Worthington and D. Kline.
Tony
Lobretto won his first ever Mini-Thunder Car feature in a 15 lap victory over
Morley, Don Porter and Skinny Cool. Lobretto also won the heat over Morley and
Cool. Morley took over the point lead with a first and second for the week-end
and now leads both street stocks and Mini-Thunder Cars.
Andrew
Behlke won his 4th kart feature of the season as he won the 12 lapper
over Tom Kohler and Tod Behlke. The results were the same in the dash.
This
Saturday the Vintage Modifieds made their 2nd appearance of the
season at Mottville.
Sunday all mothers
receive a free hot dog and coke!
