SATURDAY JUNE 16, 2001

Eric Goff passed early leader Merle Yoder on lap 19 of the 35 Mottville Stock Feature and then held of Rod Roberts and David Schaefer for his 2nd feature win of the season at the Mottville Speedway Saturday night!

With 2 laps to go the 3 cars contending for the lead went 3 wide but when the checkered flag flew it was Groff over Roberts and Schafer with Yoder 4th followed by Barry Harrison, John Yoder, Wesley Schaefer, Jean Behlke and Jason Schaefer.

John Yoder won the dash over David Schaefer and Behlke while Goff took the heat over Roberts and David Schaefer.

Randy Morley won his 15th Street Stock feature of the season but Ryan Prough gave him all he could handle in the 25 lapper. Prough settled for 2nd followed by Terry Kline, Ray Simpson, Jr., Bill Crapo, Jeff Brundt, Matt Buzzard and Paul Scott. Scott Baker won the dash over Scott and Morley and Brundt won the heat over Prough and Scott.

Doug Gage won his 2nd Thunder Car feature in a row with a 20 lap win over Melissa Worthington, Alden Brown, Jamie Kline, Fred Garrett, Ray Butler, Chris Arnett and Willie Oliver, Jr.. Arnett won the dash over Worthington and Kline while Garrett won the heat over Worthington and Kline.

Rookie Nathan Aumack won his 2nd Mini Thunder Car feature of the season with a 15 lap victory over Paul Zimmerman, Randy Morley, Mike Aumack and Mike Jones. Morley won the dash and heat over Nathan Aumack and Mike Aumack each time.

The 15 lap kart feature was non stop excitement from start to finish with Shawn Forsyth pulling away on the final lap for his 3rd win of the season! Justin Stump was 2nd followed by Jessica Brown, Greg Brown, Travis Forsyth, David Wayne, Andrew Behlke and Tod Behlke. Andrew Behlke won the dash over Jessica Brown and Greg Brown while Greg Brown won the heat over Shawn Forsyth and Stump.

Harold Boorsma won the 15 lap Vintage Modified feature over Larry Mollohan, Mike Becker, Dick James, Hugh Esleman and Tom Boorsma. Harold Boorsma won the heat over Mollohan and Becker.

The Vintage Modifieds will return to Mottville on Saturday, July 7 which is an added date to the regular schedule.
