SATURDAY JUNE 30, 2001

John Yoder won his first "A" feature ever on a hot and humid Saturday night at the Mottville Speedway as he held off Rookie Jason Schaefer for the win in the 20 lap Mottville Stock feature! Barry Harrison was 3rd followed by Jean Behlke, Merle Yoder and Wesley Schaefer. John Yoder also won the dash
over Behlke and Merle Yoder and Harrison won the heat over Merle Yoder and Jason Schaefer.

Terry Kline won his 2nd Street Stock feature of the season with a victory in the 20 lapper over Randy Morley, Paul Scott, Ray Simpson, Jr., Bill Crapo and Scott Baker. Baker won the dash over Kline and Morley and the heat over the same two.

8 cars started a crash filled Mini-Thunder Car feature and only 3 finished with Rookie Nathan Aumack wining his 3rd feature in a row and 5th of the season! Justin Mosher, driving his first feature ever, was 2nd followed by Fred Garrett, Paul Zimmerman, Randy Morley, Mike Jones, Tod Behlke and Mike Aumack. Morley won the dash over Nathan Aumack and Mike Aumack while Morley took the heat over Garrett and Zimmerman.

Willie Oliver Jr. won his ;2nd Thunder Car feature of the season in a 15 lapper over Terry Kline. As Oliver and Kline approached the finish line for the checkered flag Kline crashed into Oliver and both went spinning across the line! Melissa Worthington was 3rd followed by David Schaefer and Steve Barkby. Eric Root won his first heat of the season over Oliver and Kline.

Travis and Shawn Forsyth battled it out for the lead for all 15 laps of the kart feature before Travis narrowly recorded his 2nd win of the season and Shawn settled for a very close 2nd! Jamie Schmidtendorf was 3rd followed by Andrew Behlke, Tod Behlke, David Wayne, Eric McGlothlen, Greg Brown and Jessica Brown. Greg Brown won the dash over Travis Forsyth and Tod Behlke while McGlothlen won the heat over Shawn Forsyth and Greg Brown.
