SUNDAY JULY 1, 2001

Eric Root won his first ever feature Sunday night at the Mottville Speedway as he held off Terry Kline for the victory in the 15 lap Thunder Car feature! Points leaders Melissa Worthington was 3rd followed by Steve Barkby, Randy Morley and Willie Oliver Jr. Root won the dash over Worthington and Kline and Morley won the heat over Worthington and Root.

Fred Garret won his first Mini Thunder Car feature of the season with a 15 lap win over Nathan Aumack, Paul Zimmerman, Morley Tod Behlke, Mike Jones
and Justin Mosher. Garrett won the dash over Jones and Morley and Zimmerman captured the heat over Garrett and Morley.

Ray Simpson Jr. also won his first Bomber feature of the season as he won the 15 lapper over Bill Crapo, Warren Sprague and Vern Hammond. Simpson also won the dash over Crapo and Hammond.

Robert Teadt Jr. won his 6th Mottville Stock feature of the season in a 20 lap win over Jason Schafer, David Schaefer, Wesley Schaefer, Merle Yoder, John Yoder, Barry Harrison and Jean Behlke. David Schaefer won the dash over Behlke and Jason Schaefer and Teadt won the heat over David Schaefer
and Harrison.

Ron Hughson Jr. won his 3rd Street Stock feature of the season as he won the 25 lapper over Scott Baker, Randy Morley, Terry Kline, Ryan Prough, Wayne Kline, John Culp, Joe Reaume and Paul Scott. Prough won the dash over Morley and Wesley Schaefer while Hughson won the heat  over Scott and Morley.

Justin Stump won his first kart of the season with a 12 lap victory over Tod Behlke and Andrew Behlke. Andrew Behlke won the dash over  Stump and Tod Behlke.
