SATURDAY JULY 14, 2001

Scott Baker took the lead on lap one and lead all 20 laps Saturday night at the Mottville Speedway as he won his 4^th Street Stock feature of the season! Jeff Brunt started last and got into second on lap 15 and closed the gap on Baker but ran out of laps and had to settle for 2^nd! Terry Kline was 3^rd followed by Randy Morley, Ernie Hassler and Eric Smoroske. Brunt won the dash over Baker and Kline and the heat over Morley and Baker.

Leading Mottville Stock Rookie Jason Schaefer won his 2^nd feature of the season as he won the 20 lapper over David Schaefer, Merle Yoder, Wesley Schaefer and John Yoder. David Schaefer won the dash over Wesley Schaefer and Merle Yoder and the heat over John Yoder and Merle Yoder.

Rookie Nathan Aumack won his 9^th Mini Thunder Car feature of the season as he rallied on the last lap to just nip Mike Jones at the finish line in the 20 lapper! Paul Zimmerman was 3^rd followed by Fred Garrett, Mike Aumack and Justin Mosher. Nathan Aumack won the dash over Jones and Garrett and Garrett took the heat over Zimmerman and Nathan Aumack.         

Jamie Kline found running the wrong way around the track to her liking and picked up her 5^th Thunder Car feature of the season in a 15 lap victory over Ben Robinson and Eric Root. Robinson won the dash over Root and Kline.

Tom Boorsma won the 20 lap Vintage Modified feature over Harold Boorsma, Larry Mollohan, Mike Becker, Rog Estelle and Tim Martin. Tom Boorsma also won the heat over Martin and Mollohan.

In another exciting and close kart feature it was Shawn Forsyth taking his 5^th win of the season over Nick Landon, Jessica Brown, Eric McGlothlen, Travis Forsyth, Justin Stump, Greg Brown and Jamie Schmidtendorff. Jessica Brown won the dash over Shawn Forsyth and Greg Brown while Travis Forsyth won the heat over Shawn Forsyth and Landon.
