SUNDAY JULY 15, 2001

Scott Baker started next to last in the 25 lap Street Stock Mid-Season Championship feature Sunday night at the Mottville Speedway and took the lead on lap 8 and was never challenged as he won his 5^th feature of the season! Ron Hughson, Jr. was second followed by Terry Kline, Jeff Brunt, Ernie Hassler, John Culp, Bill Crapo, Jim Kendall, Warren Sprague and Terry Humphries.

Culp won the 15 lap B feature over Hassler by mere inches! Kendall was 3^rd followed by Sprague, Melissa Worthington, Dan Frazier, Joe Lambright and Delton Heckaman. Randy Morley won the dash over Baker and Kline. Humphries won the fast heat over Morley and Hughson while Crapo won the slow heat over Hassler and Culp.

Robert Teadt Jr. won his 8^th Mottville Stock feature of the season with a 15 lap win over Jason Schaefer, David Schaefer, Merle Yoder, Wesley Schaefer, Ray Simpson Jr. and John Yoder. David Schaefer won the 12 lap B feature over Merle Yoder, John Yoder, Wesley Schaefer and Simpson. Merle Yoder won the dash over David Schaefer and Jason Schaefer and Teadt won the heat over Jason Schaefer and Merle Yoder.

Melissa Worthington won her 5^th Thunder Car feature of the season with a 15 lap victory over Randy Morley, Jamie Kline and Eric Root. Root won the dash over Morley and Kline.

Fred Garrett won his 2^nd Mini Thunder Car feature of the season as he won the 20 lapper over Paul Zimmerman, Nathan Aumack, Justin Mosher, Mike Jones and Mike Aumack. Nathan Aumack won the dash over Mike Aumack and Jones while Garrett won the heat over Zimmerman and Nathan Aumack.
